Julie Pedersen

Julie I Pedersen, nee Root, of West Bend died on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 following a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis at The Kathy Hospice at the age of 67years. She was born September 16, 1956 in Beatrice, NE to the late Marion and Betty (nee Tinkham) Root.
On June 13, 1987, she was united in marriage to Michael A. Pedersen at St. Stephen Martyr Church in Milwaukee.
After graduating from high school, she attended technical college earning an associate's degree.
She began working for GE Medical in Milwaukee. A short time later, she worked for Marquette Electronics, retiring in 2005.
Survivors include her husband Michael; 2 sons Joshua and Joseph; 1 sister March (Randall) Jacques; brothers-in-law: Dale Pedersen and Kevin (Sandy) Pedersen; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 22 at 12 noon at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The family will greet relatives and friends at church from 10 until 11:45 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society appreciated.
