Julie Pless, age 72, resident of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at PruittHealth, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Mrs. Pless, daughter of the late Charles Robert Evans and Madelyn Ann Selover Evans, was born September 12, 1952 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a graduate of Shawnee Mission School District of Overland Park, Kansas. After high school, she met her husband in Kansas and moved to Georgia where she has worked in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. Mrs. Pless enjoyed taking trips to the mountains and taking care of her family members. While at home, many would see her painting her inside walls; collecting ceramics; cooking for her family; listening to country music; and watching television game shows. The family remembers her as a loving lady that always spoke her mind. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Pless; and two brothers, Mark Evans and Randy Evans. She is survived by three daughters, Michelle (Aaron) Goodwin, Dawn (Robin Guess) Woods, and April (Lee) May; one son, Shane Rathbun; two brothers, Robert (Linda) Evans and Scott Evans; thirteen grandchildren, Josh (Morgan) Rathbun, Madde Woods, Casey Woods, Blake Burch, Garrison May, Jaxon May, Ashley Payne, Lexie (Jesse) Bellinger, Christa Romines, Katelynn (Nathan) Easterlin, Shane Rathbun, Brianna Goodwin, and Lacy Goodwin; eight great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, 555 West Cloud Springs Road, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
