Julie Ann (Robinson) Rippee, age 68, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on October 29, 2024. Julie was born to George and Pattie (Ousley) Robinson on July 23, 1956. Her birth was the happiest day of her mother's life. Julie attended Jefferson City High School and graduated in 1974. Julie went on to attend cosmetology school in Columbia, Missouri.
Julie was the life of the party, a loyal friend, a loving mother, partner, sister, grandmother, and aunt. She loved fiercely, was fun-loving, and was as fiery as her red hair. Life was never boring with Julie and her ability to make you belly-laugh even in the most trying times was one of her best traits. Her proudest accomplishment was her only child, Katie. Katie was the one who could make her laugh more than anyone else and Julie loved her for that. Julie was a protective and doting sister and was so cherished by her siblings as well as her many nephews and nieces.
Julie was preceded in death by her beloved dad, George. She is survived by her daughter, Katie; son-in-law, Spud; and grandsons, Gunner and Grey Pritchett of Fair Grove, Missouri. Julie also leaves behind the love of her life, Rick Swearengin, and his family of Seymour, Missouri. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Pattie, and siblings: Donna Kupec, Karan Dotson, Sandy Plybon, Ronnie Robinson, and Paula Wilhoit.
A few paragraphs in an obituary can in no way convey the huge personality and loving heart that Julie had. We will carry on, but we will cherish the wonderful memories that she gave us.
A celebration of Julie's life will take place at a later date.
Arrangements are under the compassionate direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield, Missouri.
