Julie Ann Stein was born to Dr. H. Keith Linn and Bonita (Haase) Linn on January 20, 1965, the eldest of their five daughters. Julie graduated from Iowa City West High School in 1983. On June 2nd, 1980, she dedicated her life to her God Jehovah as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Since then, she has strived to allow God's word, the Bible, to guide her thoughts, speech and actions. On September 19, 1987, she married Bud Stein of Brooklyn, NY. Among her greatest joys were her four children, her beautiful gardens, her love of painting, and assisting others in coping with addiction.
Julie will be missed greatly by her husband, Bud Stein and their four children: Zachary Stein, Kaitlyn (José) Diaz, Ivy (Benjamin) Rusher, and Benjamin Stein. Julie will also be dearly missed by her four lovely sisters: Wendy Dueñas, Pamela Branchini, Tracy Kersbergen, Heidi Bremel, and their father Dr. H. Keith Linn. Julie is proceeded in death by her mother Bonita Linn in 2012.

Dear Bud and family,
We are so saddened to learn about Julie. We enjoyed having you both in our Closter NJ congregation. Please be assured of our love and prayers for strength and holy spirit to endure what is unacceptable and never intended by our loving God, Jehovah. How we long for when we never have to experience such pain again. She is now in the safest of hands, Jehovah´s memory, and we will enjoy her company again.
