Julie Wyss Obituary

Edgerton, WI - Julie E. Wyss (Carpenter) was born on July 8, 1973 in Beloit, WI; she was the youngest daughter to Donald and Mary (Menke) Carpenter. On January 30, 2026, Julie passed away peacefully at home, with her loving husband, Peter Wyss, by her side. In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded by her late husband, Paul Thomas Cole II, and nephew Joseph W. Wolff. There were many things Julie did right in her 52 years of life. She was the proud, devoted mother to Shawn (Lindsay Bishop) Carpenter, Samantha (Ethan) Wong, and Liberty Wyss. Julie was the cherished "memaw" to her grandchildren Lilyonna Jensen and Koby Wong. She was also the beloved younger sister to Jennifer and Mary Carpenter. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School and attended Blackhawk Technical College - nearly completing a nursing degree, stopping only a few credits short to prioritize her family. This decision cultivated an unconventional path towards success for Julie. During the first 20 years of her career, she held every position possible within a plasma donation center, starting as a phlebotomist and working her way towards center manager. Julie pridefully fulfilled the role of center manager at three different locations throughout the country before transitioning to consulting in the last 10 years of her career. With an unwavering 30 year dedication to her career in the plasma industry, Julie retired with the title of Senior Plasma Service Consultant with Fresenius Kabi in 2024. Regardless of the position held, Julie thrived at her job because she knew what she did truly made a difference to all the lives she touched. To quote Julie, "If you do what you love, it's pretty easy to be successful." Julie had a sound connection with her faith and was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Beloit. She recognized that both the presence of God and the support of her loved ones, especially her husband, gave her such a blessed, fulfilled life. Julie had a unique presence that made you feel like you were her kindred spirit, even if you had just met. She led with altruism and wisdom, and she was always there when you needed her. Julie is an irreplaceable friend and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her. As Julie would say: "BeBetter." A Funeral service for Julie will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2026 with a visitation of remembrance from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the Daley Murphy Wisch Funeral home & Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. Burial will be in Floral Lawns Cemetery. A visitation of remembrance will also be held Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Fortunately, I was not honored to get to know Julie, but a good friend of mine named Kelli was a great friend to Julie and told me how wonderful she was. What an amazing lady. It appears that God is receiving another angel. I´m sorry I won´t be able to attend her funeral with Kelli because I have a prior engagement my deepest sympathies to Julie and all her family and friends. I only wish I had the opportunity to meet her ,with my friend Kelli.
Deepest sympathies,
Sincerely, Gerald T Riegert
