Julius Tasset Dupont passed on September 30, 2025, after a brief illness. A proud, lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana, Julius was a graduate of Terrebonne High School and LSU. He started his career at Terrebonne Bank and Trust and was also a real estate investor, committed to his community and its growth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elise Trigg and Julius Dupont, and his brother-in-law, Marc Favié.
He is survived by his sisters, Elise Hunt and Frances Favié; nieces, Julie Navar (Gabe), Elise Oliver (Charles) and Leslie Rosamond (Michael); great-nephews Dr. Gabriel Navar (Erin), Hunt Navar (Natalie), Nicholas Oliver and Carter Oliver, great-nieces; Emory Rosamond and Jillian Rosamond.
Known as "Skeets" to friends and family, Julius loved spending time with his loved ones. He was also a world traveler, especially enjoying his trips aboard the Concorde and the Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship. He was deeply loyal to his life-long friends and cherished their companionship. Staying healthy was important to him, and he especially enjoyed his regular visits to the gym.
A small family burial will be held during the week of Thanksgiving, one of his favorite times of year, as it brought him together with those he loved most.
