Julius Shadi Obituary
Julius M. Shadi, Jr., age 93, peacefully passed away Tuesday, March 28th, 2023. He was born May 29th, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Julius M. and Ann Rita (nee Dobravsky) Shadi, Sr. Julius served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was employed at the Chevy plant in Parma, Ohio. He attended St. Ambrose Church. He was an avid hunter and belonged to two hunting clubs, and also loved to go fishing. He was a member of the Medina Bird Club, Medina Farmers Sportsman League. He was a very good man to all and will be missed by all who knew him.
Left to celebrate Julius' life is his beloved wife, Mary Jane (nee Kresse); his loving children, Michael A. (Anngie) Shadi, Diana L. Shadi (Jon Perry), and Sharon M. Shadi (Bert Stutzman); his adorable grandchildren, Kirk, Mark, and Tori (Billy) Hankins; his precious great-grandchildren, Gretchen, Blaze, Addie, Phoenix, and Jasper; and numerous extended family and friends. Julius is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Clara Pastor and Georgene Skerda.
The family will welcome visitors from 4 to 8pm on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, at Waite & Son Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road in Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, with one-hour prior visitation, on Wednesday, April 5th at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Road in Brunswick. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Memory Gardens in Brunswick. Online condolences and memories may be left for the family on Julius' guestbook at www.WaiteFuneralHome.com.
