Julius Allen "Dewey" Stiles,

86, of Morgantown, WV, passed away with his family at his side on October 2, 2025, at Madison Nursing and Rehab Center in Morgantown, WV. The son of the late Amos and Josephine Bender Stiles, he was born on May 11, 1939, in St. George, WV.

Dewey was a 1957 graduate of Bruceton High School and was a proud United States Marine. He worked as a carpenter before retirement, and he really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Sue Sypolt Stiles; a son, Barry A. Stiles, and his wife, Betty Jo, of Morgantown, WV; a daughter, Tina Griesbaum, and her husband, Todd, of Morgantown; six grandchildren: Colby (Tiffany) Stiles, Ashlea (David) Anderson, Britni Dunn, Lynsey (Neil) Kayal, Colton (Alyssa) Stiles, and Addison (Cory) Kennedy; and eight great-grandchildren: Kai

Meadows, Arya Stiles, Sawyer Stiles, Vaeda Stiles, Aspen Anderson, Zayn Kayal, Ace Anderson, and Sonny Stiles. Also surviving are six siblings: James Stiles of Ohio, Eleanor "Sis" Kraft of Bruceton Mills, Daniel Stiles of Kentucky, Jack Stiles of Albright, WV, and Eddie (Chris) Hinkle of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Stiles, and three sisters: Sandra Friend, Sharon Foster, and Evelyn Thompson.

Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, WV, Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 4:00- 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, October 6, from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Nick Bolyard officiating. Burial will follow at the Parnell Cemetery in Cuzzart (Bruceton Mills), WV, with military graveside services provided by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Preston County Honor Guard.
