Obituary of June H. Baller
Irondequoit: Monday, November 11, 2024 peacefully with family at the age of 88. She is predeceased by loving husband, of 55 years, Bill; her sister, Ruth Heiligman. She is survived by her loving children, Bethany (Joel) Donoghue, Billy (Denise) Baller, Heidi Baller; beloved grandchildren, Joseph & Kristina Baller; several nephews, niece & friends.
June was an Actress, Model, Singer and Voice Teacher. She loved the Theater; in her 20's she moved to NYC and was chosen for the first Off Broadway National Tour of 'The Sound of Music'. While on tour, Bill proposed and she planned her wedding across the US!
June was President of SAG-AFTRA Upstate NY's Union of professional actors, broadcast journalists, singers, voiceover artists for 30 years. Blessed with a heart of giving; June volunteered her entire life for outreach groups, reading to the blind, singing in Church and being a 'check in friend' for the elderly.
June loved traveling the world with Bill, especially tropical destinations, gardening, going to lunch with her friends, taking care of her rescue cats and her greatest joy; spending time with her grandchildren.
Friendly and outgoing, she also was the 'official greeter' on her daughter Bethany's Food Truck!
'She who sings, will always find a song.'
Her family will receive friends Monday, November 18, 2-4pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Tuesday, November 19, 10:00 am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for her Funeral Mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
