Virginia Beach - June Page Camp was able to bravely beat cancer in 2019, but the long-lasting side effects of treatment were more than her body could conquer, and she passed away on October 18, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Page was born in Richmond, VA on September 30, 1954. Once her family moved to Virginia Beach when she was quite young, she never left the ocean. (Page would often joke that "if it's past Hilltop, I'll need a passport.")
After working for many years as a real estate closing paralegal, in true Page fashion, she bucked convention and opened a series of small businesses. Her entrepreneurial journey took her from work in industrial wastewater treatment (where she procured accounts with Perdue, Smithfield Foods, and Hampton Roads Sanitation District, among others), to creating an award-winning snack nut, Heaters Peanuts, that swept 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the 2006 ZestFest in Texas, to owning and operating The Biker's Depot in Virginia Beach with her daughter, Amy. During the eight years that "the shop" was open, Page made many friends, got her motorcycle license, and even let Amy talk her into getting her first tattoo!
Page is survived by her daughter Amy Graziano and Amy's husband Paul, by her brothers and sisters, L. Clay Camp, Jr., Emily A. Langhorne, Jefferson C. Camp, Carrie C. Gibbons, by her niece Caroline Camp Harrison and her husband Gordon, by her former husband Rick Schoew and his wife Alison, and by her dearest and loving friend, Mitch Conrady. Page's mother, June Page Flanagan and her husband Ret. RADM W. R. Flanagan and Page's father L. Clay Camp, Sr. and his wife Barbara P. Camp preceded her in death.
Page will be remembered for being the consummate hostess (nobody could set a table like she could!) and for the love she had for her family and friends. The family would like to extend special appreciation and gratitude for all of the staff on 2 South Oncology at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital - most notably her Palliative PA, Ann Sveda and Dr. Amankona for being such strong advocates for Page, and her nurses and new friends, Clara and Danielle, for bringing so many smiles to all of us - during Page's last days.
A celebration of Page's life will be held at 12pm on Friday, October 31st at Princess Anne Country Club. Interment at Eastern Shore Chapel Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Vetshouse, Inc., a Virginia Beach charitable organization very dear to Page's heart.
Mom - Don't forget to give Hot Dog & Grannykins a big hug from me when you see them. I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. – Amy
