BEVERLY - Mrs. June Mary (Page) Heckman, 91 of Beverly, beloved wife of the late William R. Heckman, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Ledgewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late William and Doris (Poole) Page. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School.

June dedicated her career to service, beginning her journey at Ann & Hope department store where she worked in the receiving department for many years. June was known for her strong work ethic, bright smile and a willingness to help. Her commitment to helping others was clear in her role as a home health aide for Intercity Homemaking where she provided care and support to the elderly always with compassion and her signature smile. June rounded out her career of service working for Marshalls prior to her retirement.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother June was devoted to her family. She was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren and was truly happiest when celebrating their many milestones and accomplishments. Her unwavering support and love were felt throughout the generations and was the cornerstone of many lasting memories. She volunteered countless hours at Hogan Regional Center and was a long-time member of the Hogan Parents Group. June was an avid bowler and a proud member of both the Strikers and Unionettes bowling leagues where she delighted in the friendly competition and camaraderie with sisters and friends. June loved her Wednesday card club, where a mere two-dollar limit did not diminish the fierce competition and fun of her weekly games with her friends. She will be forever remembered for her warmth, kindness and infectious zest for life and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving June are her children, Elaine Jalbert of Beverly, William Heckman and his wife Carole of Peabody, and Wayne Heckman of Peabody, her 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
