June Elizabeth Huber, age 77, formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away on November 27 th, 2024 in Elkton, MD. Born in Wilmington, June was the daughter of the late Mildred (Hargis) and George F. Huber, Jr. June spent her childhood in Elmer, NJ before moving to Wilmington, DE where she spent the majority of her life. June enjoyed visiting Wildwood Crest, NJ with her children and grandchildren and frequented the Crossroads Restaurant on Limestone Road. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
June is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and William Morse of Earleville, MD; her grandchildren and their spouses, William Morse III (Hailey), Jacob Morse (Kately), and Luke Morse (Faith); her great grandchildren, Preston, Amelia, and Luke, Jr.; her siblings, Shube Huber (Bette) and Margo Norton (David). She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Chuck Ellis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday December 12, 2024 from 12 P.M. to 1 P.M. with Funeral Services to begin at 1 P.M. at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19805. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Faithful Friends Animal Shelter of DE. Online condolences can be made at mealeyfuneralhomes.com.
