June Matro Obituary
June Whitlock Matro, 89, of Richmond, VA, was called home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Matro; her two children, Kenny Elliott and William "Chubby" Elliott.
June is survived by her two children, Ronnie Elliott and David Matro; her siblings, Jean and James Whitlock; her grandchildren, Kristen and Melissa; and her three great-grandchildren, Randolph, Preston and Anthony.
June proudly retired from C&P Telephone Company after 30 years.
The family will receive guests from 4 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Bliley's – Central, 3801 Augusta Ave., Richmond, VA. The funeral service will be held at Bliley's at 12 p.m., on Friday, October 18, 2024. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
June will forever be missed.
