June Caroline McCready, 98, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Stormont Vail Flint Hills Campus Hospital in Junction City.
A public visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 at the Johnson Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Fort Riley Main Post Cemetery.
June was born December 7, 1926 in Maximo, Ohio the daughter of Clyde Clarence and Loretta Elizabeth (Weber) Erisey.
June moved to Junction City in 1971. Her husband Harvey "Mac" was stationed at Fort Riley. June worked for the Geary County Health Department. She was catholic and attended St. Xavier Catholic Church. June enjoyed gardening and playing the piano.
On June 7, 1952, she married Harvey Charles "Mac" McCready. He died April 28, 1986.
Survivors include four sons; Mark Layne McCready of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, John Paul Erisey McCready of Bridgeport, Michigan, Todd Gregory McCready of Fruita, Colorado and Kevin Michael McCready of Junction City, Kansas; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mac, grandson Matthew, two brothers and three sisters.
