Keith McCready Obituary
Keith A. McCready, 72, of Northampton, PA, was welcomed into the arms of his loving Savior on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke's in Bethlehem, PA. Born July 14, 1953, in Bethlehem Fountain Hill PA, he was the son of the late Horace McCready, Jr. and the late Doris (Baer) McCready. He was the husband of Dorothy (Moyer) McCready with whom he shared 39 years of marriage this past May 17, 2025.
Keith was a 1971 graduate of William Allen High School, Allentown, PA, who was last employed as an industrial mechanic for B. Braun Medical, Inc., Allentown, PA for over 12 years before retiring in January of 2017. Prior to that, he worked a few years in the same capacity for Crayola, Easton, and over 20 years for Kraft Foods, Fogelsville, PA.
Keith was a devoted man of faith who instilled strong Christian values in his two daughters, raising them to share his deep reverence for God. A longtime member of Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church in Whitehall, PA, he faithfully attended there for over 30 years, following earlier years of worship at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church in Allentown, PA.
Keith's love for his family knew no bounds. He would do anything for his beloved wife, daughters, and grandchildren, who were the true joy and light of his life.
An avid gun enthusiast, Keith spent countless hours refining his marksmanship at the Guthsville Rod & Gun Club in Orefield, PA. His interest in firearms was matched only by his lifelong love of cars. In his younger years, he was an active member of the Allentown Area Corvette Club, where he shared his enthusiasm with fellow car lovers.
Keith is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; daughters, Jennifer L., wife of Michael Golden of Danielsville, PA and Leah S. wife of Mathias Crespo of Boothwyn, PA, sister, Wendy L., wife of Kevin Yandrasitz of Catasauqua, PA; He was a proud grandfather to three cherished grandchildren: Lillian, Allison, and Isaac Golden. He is also survived by his niece, Sarah, and his nephew, Matthew.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday August 31, 2025, at Northern Lehigh Bible Fellowship Church, located at 840 S. Best Avenue Walnutport, PA 18088. Family will receive friends from 2 PM until time of service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067 has been entrusted with his care and services.
