June O’Neil Obituary
RUTLAND-June Anne O'Neil, 85 of Rutland died Thursday February 12, 2026 at Rutland Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on August 28, 1940 in Milton the daughter of Albert and Viola (Rushford) Lizotte. She attended a one-room schoolhouse in Brandon and Leicester.
June was a member of Christ the King Church.
She had been employed by Alberico Rug Cleaners for 20 years, Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association, Lorretta Home, Rutland Hospital, Potter Hospital then as a aide at Maple Terrace until her retirement in 1994.
Survivors include a son Eugene Goodspeed of Rutland, a brother Norman Lizotte of Sailsbury, sisters Ruth Delto of Ca, Carolyn Ball of Liverpool, NY, and of Smithville, TX, a grandson Charles Goodspeed and a great grandson C. J. Laplante, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Percy Dean O'Neil on October 8, 2017. Also, by a sister Louise Niles, and brothers Albert Lizotte Jr in 2010, Raymond Lizotte, Carroll Lizotte, John Lizotte and William Lizotte.
Graveside services will be held at later date in the Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the Aldous Funeral Home.
