June M. (McCarthy) Parziale, age 86, of Lynn, died on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House following a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Anthony Parziale, who predeceased her in 1976. Born in East Boston, in 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Matson) McCarthy. She was raised and educated in East Boston, graduated from East Boston High School and moved to Lynn in 1968. June worked for many years as a clerk for the State of Massachusetts, Civil Service Commission and was recognized for her exemplary service. She was an excellent cook and was talented at crocheting. She enjoyed gardening, taking trips to the casino and to visit her family. Her fondest memory was a trip she took with her family to Ireland. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. After raising her own children, she helped raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
June was the loving mother of Anthony Parziale and his wife Lisa of Saugus, Pamela Laramie of Middleton and her late husband Fred "Rick" Laramie and the late Danielle (Parziale) Neves. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, including Carol Salerno and Nadine "Dee" Heaphy; her grandchildren, Anthony Mekalian, James Enquist, Diane Mazzola, Ashley Laramie and Amanda Parziale; her great-grandchildren, Jéan, Julia, Justin, Joshua, Roclynn, Addie, Sam, Hailey, Jordan and Moriah and her sister Patricia Pfeifer of Lynn. She was also predeceased by her grandson Michael Neves; her granddaughter Pamela June Marie (Amancio) Fleuriel and her siblings, Joseph, Frederick, Daniel, and Edward McCarthy, Alice Salerno Whitney and Mary Baetzel.
A Funeral will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at 9a.m. from the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), Lynn followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Lynn at 10a.m. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting Hours will be on Sunday from 3-7p.m Donations in June's memory may be made to Care Dimensions at www.caredimensions.org/donate
