Aidyn Matthew Donais

Aidyn Matthew Donais, age 13, of Lynn, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He was the loving son of Matthew J. Donais of Lynn and the late Leona Chambers, who predeceased him earlier this year.

Aidyn was born in Southbridge and had lived in Western Massachusetts before moving to Lynn over a year ago. He was preparing to begin the 8th grade at Marshall Middle School. Aidyn was a bright spark in the lives of all who knew him. He had a deep love for learning, especially when it came to science and electricity. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies, playing his Xbox, and BMX biking. He had great love for the outdoors and loved to go hiking and camping. Aidyn had a kind heart and wanted to be a Police Officer when he grew up.

In addition to his father, Matthew, he is survived by his little sister, Leah Donais; his brother, Damien Bissineri; his grandparents Bonnie Harkins and Linda and Ed Dashnaw; as well as his aunts and uncles, Amber Harkins and Justin Royer, Jackie Dashnaw, Erica and Phil Woodford, and Tyler Dashnaw, and his cousin Jase Royer. He was predeceased by his mother, Leona and his grandfather, Robert Donais, Jr.

A celebration of Aidyn's life will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2PM in the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and there will be an opportunity for family and friends to share a few words about Aidyn during the service. His family would find comfort if anyone would be willing to speak.
