June M. Polipnick, age 85 of Sauk Centre, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the CentraCare Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Rev. Greg Paffel will officiate with interment following in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church in Sauk Centre. June Marlow Dickinson was born June 6, 1928 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota to Harold and Ethel (O'Gara) Dickinson. After her father's passing, June's mother remarried George "Bud" Codden on August 6, 1941. On October 30, 1948 June married Emil Polipnick, Jr. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. The couple farmed with Emil's parents until 1952. June was a stay at home mom and was the bookkeeper for Polipnick Beverage Company in Sauk Centre. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. June enjoyed going to the casino, drawing, playing piano, and throwing the Viking brick at the television while watching the Minnesota Vikings. Survivors include her three sons, Tim (Susan) Polipnick of Nisswa, Tom (Judy) Polipnick of Sauk Centre, and Todd (Meredith) Polipnick of North Branch; daughter, Nancy (Shane) Patzer of McAllen, Texas; five grandchildren, Tom (Jackie George) Polipnick, Jr. and daughters, Avery and Finley; Brianna Polipnick; Kirstin (Will) Siegfried and son, Zachary; Kayla Patzer and son, Donte'; Richard (Rebecca) Polipnick and children, Kayla, Darius, Austin, Brittney, and Ella. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Polipnick, Jr. on September 26, 2008; parents; and granddaughter, Erin Polipnick. Serving as casket bearers will be Rick Johns, Richard Polipnick, Todd Polipnick, Tom Polipnick, Jr., Austin Polipnick, and Darius Polipnick. Serving as cross bearer will be Ella Polipnick.
