June entered her eternal rest on February 11, 2025. The oldest of four, she was born on July 17, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, to Ida A. (Hirsch) and James J. Temenak. On August 20, 1949, she married Robert W. Schoder in Chicago and they were together in love until Robert's passing in 2014. Throughout her lifetime of 94 years, June was a creative and energetic part of all that she touched-a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who actively served her Lord Jesus Christ in various churches and in many capacities. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and sister, Susan (Daniel) Remus. She leaves behind two siblings, James M. Temenak (Aurelia Kolby) and Lorene (Wayne) Dinkelman; three children, Michael Schoder, Roberta (Carl) Abele and Carol Schoder (Joseph Kotas); five grandchildren, Jessica Abele, Mathew Abele (Diamon Erickson), Charles Abele (Melissa Grooms), Jakob Kotas and Alexander Kotas; four great-grandchildren, Erick Abele, Kaitlyn Abele, Josiah Abele and Caleb Abele, as well as many nieces and nephews, She will be privately interred with her husband, Robert, at Riverside Cemetery in Montgomery, Illinois. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service in June's honor at a date to be announced.
