June was preceded in death by her doting husband James Slaughter. She leaves behind her 3 children; Cynthia (Louie) Moran, John (Nancy) Slaughter and Gayle (Charles) Dawson. Dear grandmother to 10 grandchildren, great grandmother to 15, and great-great grandmother to 3.
June loved her family, was an avid 'card player', was proud of her Scottish heritage, and very active at Greenfield Church. She was selfless, humble, loyal, inclusive, generous, caring, and loving in every way. But most of all, she was a testament of our Lord's Glory & Grace. He wove His fabric into every fiber of her being and richly blessed her through each step of life's journey. A faithful servant, June ran the 'Good Race'!
Visitation to be held on Wednesday August 7th from 11am until a 6pm Funeral Service at Charles Step Funeral Home; 18425 Beech Daly, Redford MI 48240 (Between 6 and 7 mile roads).
