June Rose (Pease) Wildt, 84, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025.
June was born in Evansville, Indiana on September 6, 1941 to the late William and Selma (Snellen) Pease. She attended Central High School and later in life as a single mother of 6 obtained her GED and studied to become a nurse. June worked at St. Mary's Medical Center and retired from Home Health Nursing in 2014, at the age of 73. Traveling throughout her life has been a joy and favorite pastime for June. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. June will be dearly remembered for her kindness, courage, and independent spirit.
June is survived by her children, Dusty Rhodes, William Rhodes, Tamara Wildt and Daniel Wildt; ; grandchildren, Ashley, Jacqueline, Kristina, Alexus, Michael, and Brandon; many great-grandchildren who she loved dearly.
In addition to her parents June was preceded in death by her sons, Timothy Rhodes and Bryan Rhodes; sister, Frances Montgomery and brothers, William, Kenneth, Bill, Kermit, and Hubert.
A celebration of June's life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 11:00 am until service time on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home.
