Mary Katherine (Daugherty) Clark, 86, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025 at the Heritage Center.
Katherine was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 4, 1939 to the late Jesse and Martha (Burden) Daugherty. She attended Central High School and retired from National Can after 17 years of service. Katherine enjoyed bowling and watching boxing and horse racing. She spent many days enjoying the horse races at Ellis Park. Katherine cherished spending time with her family and especially loved sitting outside and swinging with her sister and grandchildren.
Katherine is survived by her daughters, Stacy Brown (Don) and Leslie Wilson (Wes) both of Evansville, IN; son, Michael Clark (Denise) of Evansville, IN; brother, Larry Daugherty (Charlotte) of Greenwood, IN; grandchildren, Jamie Macaluso (Mike), Chelsea McCain (John), Dakota Wilson (Keri), Arizona Wilson, and Tesla Clark; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth Clark; sisters, Josephine Daughtery, Dalcy Hale, Jackie Bolin, and Sondra Green; and brothers, Steve Daugherty and Merion Daugherty.
A celebration of Katherine's life will be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating.
Friends may visit from 12:00 Noon until service time on Thursday at Browning Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Heritage Center-Wellsprings Unit, especially Kenya for their compassionate care.
