Junious Edward Winn, 93, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 2, 2026 at HPC-Heartford House.

Ed was born in Irvington, Kentucky on December 15, 1932 to the late Emmett and Mattie (Rhodes) Winn. He graduated from Cannelton High School and honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Ed earned his masters degree from the University of Evansville and spent his career working in human resources at several different companies including: Faultless Caster, Thomas Industries, Maxon Marine, International Steel, Southwire and America Olean. He enjoyed dancing, reading and playing golf, but above all else, Ed enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Ed is survived by his sons, Glenn Winn (Danette) and Tony Ashby; sister, Linda Pannett; grandchildren, Randi Ashby, Dr. Brittany Winn-McKinley (Jimmy "Jimbo") and Cody Winn (Christina "Tina"); and by his great-grandchildren, Atlas, Braxtyn, Hendrix, Aluxia, Della, Olive and Sylvie.

Ed was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Mae (Baldwin) Winn in 2003, his second wife, Dolores (Campbell) Winn in 2019; sisters, Ava Polk and Mary Oehser; and by his brother, Emmett Winn Jr.

A celebration of Ed's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Claus Campground Cemetery in Santa Claus, IN.

Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
