Junis Sherman Ingle, 97, of Camby, passed away Wednesday, September 17th, 2025. He was born June 30th, 1928 in Birdseye, Indiana to his parents Joseph Solomon and Anna Serelda (Brady) Ingle. He married the late Ida Catherine (Blaylock) Ingle on January 31st, 1948.

Junis is survived by his two children: Michael Ingle (Andrea) of Greenwood and Deborah Demeter (Rick) of Deltona, Florida; seven grandchildren: Joseph Ingle Jr., Gregory Goebel, Cynthia Ingle, Regina Pointer, Jason Ingle, Hillary Ingle, and Veronica Ingle; 12 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Junis is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Ida Catherine Ingle; three sons: John Ingle, David Ingle, and Joseph Ingle; and eight siblings.

Junis dedicated 48 years of his life as a Foreman for Metal Craft in Indianapolis before retiring in 1987. As a proud member of the NRA and the White Lick Bowhunters Club, he exemplified a spirit of community and camaraderie. His commitment to Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville for 30 years reflected his deep faith and values. With a passion for fishing and hunting, he was a true jack-of-all-trades and a two-time State Archery Champion. Known for his toughness, love, generosity, and care, Junis was always ready to lend a helping hand, embracing adventure and the joy of staying active.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday, September 23rd at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1150 IN-144, Mooresville, IN 46158. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am following visitation at the church. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm, where Junis will be laid to rest at Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye, Indiana.
