Justin L. Blocker, 62, of Leland, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 18, 1962 in Lockport, Illinois the son of John and Bonnie (Woodraska) Blocker. Justin married the love of his life Suzanne M. Hughes on July 3, 1982 in West Frankfort, Illinois. He was a dedicated employee of Homeland Security FEMA Division, he went out to assess the damage done by Natural disasters. He loved listening to music, collecting guns, fishing and Target shooting. What he cherished most was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Justin leaves behind his wife, Suzanne of Leland; three children, Dereck Blocker of Sandwich, Samantha Blocker of Leland and Chase Blocker of St. Charles; three grandchildren, Quinn, Rauiri and Solara; two brothers, Rick Blocker and Randy (Amy) Blocker both of West Frankfort; In-laws, Deb, Dave Whitlock; brother-in-law, Tony Hughes; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, goddaughter, Shaley Pelafas, his work friends, especially Wayne and Mary as well as many other friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Bonnie Blocker.
