Russ Anderson, 63, of Sheridan, IL, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. He was born November 25, 1961, in Aurora, IL, the son of Delmar and Elsie (VanTassel) Anderson. He married Christine Dhuse on November 24, 1984, in Yorkville, IL. Russ loved farming in the Newark area for many years. His pride and joy was his Snow Plowing business that he ran for 45 years, serving the Plano, Yorkville, Newark, and surrounding area. Prior to retirement, he drove a truck for a local construction company. He was an avid Bears fan and cheered them on during every game.
He is survived by his wife, Christine of Norway, IL; his siblings, Becky (Jim) Wilson, Lorrie (Dale) Robbins, and Richard (Lisa) Anderson; and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
