Mr. Justin Dupre, aged 77, of Royal, AR, peacefully passed away to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 5th, 2024. Born in Palmetto, LA to the late Wilfred and Beatrice "Bea" Ledoux Dupre, Justin led a life marked by faith, hard work, dedication, and a profound commitment to family and community.
Throughout his journey, Justin embodied an extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit. From his tenure as a loan officer at First National Bank to his ownership and management of multiple thriving businesses, including Pearcy Grocery, Fish Nest, Dupre Livestock Feed, Dupre Pet Food, and Diamond Lakes Chicken Farms, his ventures left an indelible mark on the local landscape. Beyond business, Justin lent his talents to various roles, including security work for Weyerhaeuser and sales endeavors with Davis Portable Buildings, before embracing retirement.
Justin's legacy extends far beyond his professional accomplishments. A proud veteran of the US Navy, having served aboard the USS Ranger during the Vietnam War, he exemplified bravery and patriotism. His commitment to faith was equally unwavering, as a devoted member and board member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle.
In the loving embrace of his family, Justin found his greatest joy and fulfillment. He is survived by his cherished wife of 56 years, Linda Crittenden Dupre of Royal, AR, and his adoring children, Derek Dupre and his wife Kellie of Royal, AR, and Delayna Little and her husband James of Murfreesboro, TN. His legacy further endures through his four grandchildren: Ty (Kolby) Dupre, Lane Dupre, Taylor (Mariah) Little, and Joshua (Jennica) Little, along with his seven great-grandchildren: Layla, Ledgar, Lydia, Lincoln, Luke, Laramie, and Livinia. He is also survived by his loving sister-in-law, Ms. Judy Soileau Dupre of Palmetto, LA.
In addition to his parents, Justin was preceded in death by his siblings, JC Dupre, Lawrence Dupre, Eldora Dupre Burks, and Wilbert Dupre.
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, April 6th, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be at Apostolic Faith Tabernacle at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 7th, officiated by Bishop Dennis Anderson and Senior Pastor Will Culberson. Justin will be laid to rest at Peak Cemetery in Royal, AR.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to those who provided exceptional care and companionship to Justin. Special thanks to Gail Pruitt, RNP, for her compassionate care and friendship, Kolby Dupre for her devoted support and care at home, and Larry Holcomb for his companionship during Saturday checkers games, offering Linda precious moments for errands.
In remembrance of Justin Dupre, may his legacy of strength, service, and love continue to inspire all whose lives he touched.

My condolences to Justin´s family. I haven´t had the privilege to see Justin for many years but I will never forget when he came to work at First National Bank. I worked in the Installment Loan Department with Justin and have many good memories of those days. Diligent worker, always putting God first, always respected by all his customers and co- workers. God bless
