Justin Vitrano Obituary
Jay proudly served as an officer with the New Orleans Police Department for 30 years. He took great pride in his work and the opportunity to serve and protect the people of his city. Outside of his career, Jay had a deep love for history and football and enjoyed sharing those interests with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Henry Vitrano and Alma Howell Gillis; his son, Ernest Morris Jr.; his brothers, Raymond Vitrano Jr. and Ricky Vitrano; and his grandparents, Justin Joseph Howell and Bazie Vigo Howell.
Jay is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Fontenot Vitrano; his children, Tisha Morris, Justin Vitrano, and Nicholas Vitrano (Alysha), his brother, Robbie Vitrano; his stepmother, Mary Vitrano; and his cherished grandchildren, Payton, Aija, Braxton, Tate, and Ellerie.
Jay will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his pride in his profession, and the many lives he touched throughout his years of service.
