Kaleb Garner Obituary
Kaleb Alan Garner, age 9, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, along with his father and brother on Sunday, June 18, 2023, in a tragic house fire.
He was born in Lee County on November 15, 2013, to Amanda Bahnsen Cox and the late Patrick Daniel Garner. In addition to his dad, Daniel and Big brother, Carson Garner, Kaleb was greeted by his papa Jim Hayes; uncle, Christopher Patterson; great-grandparents, Roy, & Shirley Garner - Ray & Santina Bahnsen. Great Uncles Tommy & James Garner-David Bahnsen, Ike Bahnsen, & Larry Smith. Kaleb just completed third grade at Boone Trail Elementary School where he enjoyed visiting the library and received First Place for checking out the most books of all the students in the school during the school year. Kaleb had a vivid imagination, he enjoyed playing Minecraft, Zelda and fighting "Ninjas" in the front yard. Kaleb's passing, along with the passing of his father, Daniel and brother, Carson will leave a huge void in the family as they will be forever missed.
He is survived by his mom, Amanda Cox; grandparents, Mandy Garner Buchanan, (B.J); Suezanne Hayes, John Bahnsen (Becki). Great Grandparents Mary Felton (Roger). Brother, Michael Garner (Felix) and Peyton Cofery & sisters, Madison Garner (Rhys), Sammy Cox and Alonna Cofery; lifelong friends, Kaylee, Ryan, & Belle; Aunts, Crystal Patterson Holmes (Jerry); Kelsey Bahnsen, Tina Collins, & Toni Parker and his Uncle Keno Jones along with many cousins, great Aunts & Uncles, teachers, & Friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 2 pm in the chapel of Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home with Rev. George Stallings officiating.
