Kali Renee Smith-Harrand

Kali Renee Smith-Harrand, 27 of Delaware, died unexpectedly, yet peacefully at her home, due to complications from many years of chronic illnesses on Monday January 23, 2023.

She was born September 7, 1995 at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus to her parents James G. and Kelly D. Smith, they survive near Richwood.

Kali was a 2014 graduate of the North Union High School. Her dream was to be a nurse, she followed that dream, attending college, until her health would not allow her to continue.

Kali was a very creative soul, she enjoyed coloring, reading and writing. She even had one of her beautiful poems published. Kali also loved her "Stuffy Family", her ever growing collection of stuffed animals.

Surviving along with her parents is her husband, Jonathan M. Harrand, they were married October 30, 2021 at the Barn at Stratford. Also surviving are her in-laws, Mark and Ronda Harrand of Richwood and aunts, uncles, cousins and many extended family.

Graveside services will be held Saturday January 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.
