Roger Congrove Obituary
Born January 3, 1955 in Delaware, Ohio the son of the late Sherry W. & Esther (Seitter) Congrove. Roger graduated from Buckeye Valley High School in 1973. Roger was a Certified Master Technician where he most recently worked for Tuffy Automotive for 20 years.
Roger is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Barbara (Mitchell); son Craig Congrove; foster daughter Amanda (Rob) Reynolds; grandchildren McKenzee Roseburrough, Bronson Congrove, Josiah Congrove and Sagen Reynolds; brothers Jerry and David (Connie) Congrove; sisters Ulajean (Robert) Harruff, Donna Williams, Dottie (Ian) Kerr and Candace (Steve) Conley; Brother in-law Butch (Missy) Mitchell; sister in-law Donna (Danny) Colvin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Congrove.
Roger enjoyed being a true handyman, tinkering on anything mechanical. He enjoyed auto racing and being part of pit crews. Most Recently taking a trip to Mid- Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio with his grandsons. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach including Florida, Myrtle Beach; but also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and Tennessee. He felt free on the back of his Harley, which he rode regularly. He was also an avid Ohio State fan, and stuck with them, even if some of his family was supporters of other teams. Those close to Roger will remember him as a loving, hard-working, generous, loyal, and go to person.
Friends may call on the family on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Snyder Funeral Center, Delaware Chapel, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio, 43015. A Celebration of Life service, honoring Roger's significance will take place at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Stephen Whitaker officiating.
Contributions in Roger's name may be given directly to the Snyder Funeral Center, to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Roger is as very caring for his Tuffy customers. Best auto mechanic I ever met. Enjoyed our Tuffy conversations over the last 20 years. He absolutely loved his wife and family. My 2001 Suburban truck runs great because of Roger. Rest in Peace.
