Ramona "Mona" M. Congrove, 95 of Zanesville, died 4:01 PM, Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Willow Haven Care Center in Zanesville. She was born Monday, October 21, 1929, in Reedsville, the daughter of Eugene "Gene" F. Wilson and Nellie E. (Kibble) Wilson, and married Charles "Butch" Eugene Congrove on Tuesday, December 31, 1946.
Mona was a homemaker, a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed collecting Barbie Dolls, Indian Artifacts & Longaberger Baskets.
Mona is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Tom) Williams of Coshocton and Denise "Dee" (Scott) Gee of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Jason McNerney, Jeremy (Misty) McNerney, Jessica (Rob) Messer, Michael (Jennifer) Palmer, Matthew (Mandy) Palmer and Joshua Williams; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Butch Congrove who died August 28, 1994, and one sister and brother-in-law, Peggy & Robert Sams.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday July 8, 2025, with Rev Darren Tolbert officiating.
