Caleb Alexander Green, age 30, of Powell, Ohio, was born April 19, 1995, in Southfield, Michigan, and entered eternal rest on January 10, 2026. He was the beloved son of Reuben II and Jasmine Green, and the cherished brother of Reuben III and Amber Green. A proud graduate of Buckeye Valley High School, Caleb earned his Associate Degree from City College of San Francisco, where he served as team captain of a National Championship football team, and later earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron, where he also competed on a MAC East Championship football team and worked as a campus radio DJ known as “DJ Alert.” He was nearing completion of his Master’s degree in Strategic Communications and was known as a lifelong learner, leader, and motivator.
Athletics, faith, service, and family defined Caleb’s life. He competed on championship teams from childhood through college, excelled in multiple sports, pursued professional athletic opportunities, and remained deeply committed to community service and church involvement. Above all, Caleb loved his family and will be remembered as kind, faithful, intelligent, compassionate, and inspirational. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Dr. Reuben H. Green, Dr. Mildred Green, and Ernest Jones. He is survived by his parents, Reuben II and Jasmine Green; brother Reuben III (Kelly); sister Amber Green; maternal grandmother Shirley Jones; niece Justine; and a host of loving family and friends.
