Kalynn R. Pherigo

Kalynn R. Pherigo, 56, of Havana, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, at 11:09 a.m., on Friday, August 11, 2023. She was born July 29, 1967, in Havana, to Arnold and Evelyn (Watson) Miller. She married Scott Pherigo on February 13, 2008, in Havana. He survives.
Kalynn is survived by her husband, Scott, of Havana; five children: Warren (Jeanna Clancy) Miller, of Havana, Rochelle (Christopher) Schnoor, of Easton, Bradley (Pam) Pherigo, of Mason City, Kayla (Josh) Moore, of Manito, and Benjamin (Tonya) Pherigo, of Hoots Summit, Missouri; as well as fourteen grandchildren. Also surviving are six siblings: Kendall (Patti) Miller, of Lewistown, Kevin (Shari) Miller, of Havana, Kimball Miler of El Campo, Texas, Kent Miller of Whitehall, Illinois, Kara (James) Garrett of Choteau, Montana and Kammie Miller of Pekin, Illinois; as well as her beloved fur baby Layla Mae. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Moore and stepfather, Robert Moore.
Kalynn had worked for the Havana School District and Alco, in Havana for several years. She loved her family and fought cancer until the very end.
A visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, in Havana, on Monday, August 14, 2023, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m.
