Kameron Monk Obituary

Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10am at Land of Memory Cemetery in Palestine. Services are in care of Herrington / Land of Memory Funeral Home.
Kameron graduated from Palestine High School in 1974 and later attended Stephen F. Austin, obtaining his bachelor's degree in accounting. He was an avid sports fan; his team was the Dallas Cowboys. Kameron enjoyed antiquing and worked at Ye Olde Auction House where he made many friends. He also worked at the Dallas Morning News and Holly Tree Country Club for many years. Kameron was a kind soul who will be missed by his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Marcilee Monk. Kameron is survived by his brother, Timothy Monk and wife Cindy; sister, Tracie Lively and husband Dennis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

My sincere condolences. Kameron was my Jr High & High School classmate as well as my Wildcat team mate. He was without a doubt, one of the nicest guys I interacted with.
