Ms. Karen Louise Bivens, seventy-one of Struthers, OH, formerly of Campbell, entered eternal rest on Monday November 17, 2025 at Mercy Health hospital in Youngstown surrounded by her family.

Beloved daughter of William Harrison and Betty Steele Bivens, she entered this life on October 30, 1954, in Youngstown, OH. She attended Campbell City Schools and was a 1972 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, she later attended Youngstown State University graduating in 2017 with an Associate degree in Applied Sciences, making the dean's list. She had been employed with Boardman Molded Products Inc. prior to furthering her education.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories two daughters, Carol (Paul) Moore of Bonair, GA, Andrea Denise of Youngstown; two sons, Vaughn Maurice (Melanie) of Clover, SC, Darrio Kevon of Youngstown; seven granddaughters, Dominique, Nena, Sophia, Stephanie, Sabrina, Savannah, and Shannon; two grandsons, Montrail and Monterrio Moore; two great grand dogs, Tyga and Whisper who will miss her special treats. She also celebrated life with her siblings, William (Trudy) Harrison Jr. of Cleveland, Aavon of Ypsilanti, MI, Thomas "Butch" (Shelia) Bailey of Greensburg, PA, Willie (Vera) Anthony Bailey of Youngstown, Eva Jane Henry of Arlington, Oh, Henrietta Scott (Kenneth Forde), and Billy all of Charlotte, NC, Florence Talley of Cleveland and Matthew Bivens of Jamica Plain, MA. She also leaves two special friends that she loved immensely, William "Brim" Fowler and Donna Love, she also leaves a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.

Waiting to greet her at heaven's gates are her parents, William (Betty); two brothers, Leon and Robert; two sisters Mary and Ruth Ann; and a nephew Anthony Bailey.

Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2025 from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Evangelistic Temple Church, 2214 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44509. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
