Karen is survived by her husband William "Bill" Martin Born, son William Lee Nevius, sister Theri Nevius, brother William Douglas Nevius, grandchildren William Lee Nevius II, Stormy Elizabeth Nevius, several more grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Karen loved to love, she enjoyed her family and often said money doesn't make you rich its your family and friends that do. She was a mother in every sense of the word, the greatest grandmother and a true gift from God.
Visitation will be held from 4-5pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 5pm also at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org
