Heaven has a new angel. Karen Marie Colombo, 83 of Plano TX passed on July 19, 2025.
Karen was born to David Michael Seyller and Ethel Margaret Range-Seyller on November 30, 1941, in Elgin Il. Karen attended High School at Mount Saint Mary Academy in St. Charles IL.
Karen and her husband Ray were married for over 65 years, never had a serious argument, were tied at the hip, and went everywhere together. Karen had an extremely strong faith in God and loved her family very much. She was the best wife and mother anyone could have wished for. Karen had the kindest heart and when she smiled, she smiled with her eyes. She never spoke negatively of anyone, and everyone that met Karen loved her. She was patient, rarely got angry, and was always forgiving. Karen loved getting lost in a book, playing cards, making jewelry, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Colombo, brother Mark Seyller (Beckie) of Goshen, IN; sister-in-law Dierdre Colombo (Ron Butz) of Hot Springs, AR; children: Kristin Ryan (Jim) of Frankston, TX; Darrin Colombo (Marloe) of Anna, TX; Brent Colombo (Jill) of Streetman, TX; Dawn Anderson of Carolina Shores, NC; Kirk Colombo (Cheryl) of Carol Stream, IL grandchildren: Justen Parks (Brooke); Nicholas Colombo (Danell), Georgina Flores (Jason), Britta Colombo (Evan Wooten), Troy Colombo, Jacob Colombo, Brooke Colombo, Devin Fruendt (Bailey Crisp), Brett Anderson, Daulton Anderson (Noleigh Locklear), Kevin Colombo, Katelyn Colombo; great grandchildren: Payton Parks, Taylor Parks, Chrysanthemum Simpson, Malachi Simpson, Harper Colombo, Wren Colombo, Derek Flores and Logan Flores. Beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joanne Seyller, son Keith Colombo, brother-in-law Carl Colombo, and son-in-law Christopher Anderson.
