August 27, 1962 – April 16, 2024
Karen L. (Marquez) Craft passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024
She was born in Oak Lawn, Illinois and attended St. Edward Catholic High School. Karen went on to have a very successful career in retail management.
Karen cherished her time with her family. She had a true passion for interior design. She loved to go antique shopping to find that one special piece to breathe new life into. When she wasn't redecorating or working on a new project you would find her playing with her fur babies and rooting on her beloved Cubs.
Karen is preceded in death by her Parents Henry and Emilie Marquez, Great Nephew Eli Navarrete, Her Uncle Angelo "Butch" Marquez and Aunt Rebecca Pope
She is survived by her Husband Greg Craft of St. Charles, IL, Her two Daughters Michelle Miracle of St. Charles, IL and Jennifer Miracle (Isaiah Sherman) of Mahtomedi, MN
Siblings Celia Cooke of Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, Amelia (Steve) Bauer of Murrells Inlet, SC, Albert (Megan) Marquez of St. Charles, IL and Angela Marquez (Richard Tippy) of St. Charles, IL
Niece/Nephews Philip (Theresa) Bauer, Elizabeth (Jose) Navarrete, Matt (Lillian) Cooke, Lynda Cooke, George, Penelope and Charlie Marquez
Great Niece/Nephews Jackson Bauer, Xavier, Jose Jr, Vince Navarrete, Dawn Cooke
Cousin Tim (Melinda) Marquez and Anthony (Aniela) Marquez
There will be a memorial service held at Yurs Funeral home in St. Charles, IL on April 27,2024 from 2-5pm
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Kamins Farm Sanctuary in Grayslake, IL or Tender Loving Care Animal Shelter in Homer Glen, IL.
