Karen R. Dalessandro, 79, of Huntley, IL passed away August 1st, 2025, at Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Eau Claire, WI on November 22nd, 1945, the daughter of Howard and Grace (Rahl) Enger. Musically talented she played both the accordion and banjo. She was fan of country music her whole life with an encyclopedic knowledge of its various stars and celebrities through the years She loved a crisp limoncello, but was also known to enjoy a cold beer. Home cooked Italian dinners were common in her home. She liked to try her luck with a good wager every now and then. Her style and personality were one of a kind, and if you had the pleasure of meeting her you were not likely to forget her. Through the years she built homes in both Illinois and Florida that she took great pride in. Most of all though, Karen loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Karen is survived by her two daughters, Tammy (Don) Jameson and Renee (Dominic) Bianchi; son, Randolph (Kristin) Dalessandro; 3 grandchildren, Nathan (Allison) Jameson, Vanessa (Alexander) Tapia and Carly Dalessandro; 2 great grandchildren, Penelope Jameson and Ethan Dalessandro; one sister, Kathy (Jon) Strang and one brother, Krist Enger. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Dalessandro; her brother, Kenneth Enger and 2 great grandchildren, Enzo and Austin Tapia. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Karen's name may be directed to the family.
