A Memorial Visitation for Karen Ann Haren, 77, of Lake Zurich, will be at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Ave, Lake Zurich, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
Karen was born on February 25, 1947, to H. Wesley and Elsie M. Celander. She died peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
Professionally, Karen worked for United Airlines from 1972 to 1984. Additionally, from 2003-until her retirement in 2015 she was a special education assistant at Mundelein High School.
Karen was the beloved wife of Bob Haren; loving mother of Bret (Heather) Haren and Matthew Haren; cherished grandmother of Lila and Treyson Haren; and dear sister of Ken Celander and Lois (Barry) Cornwell.
