Stanley Paul Haren, age 67, passed away June 20, 2023 after a battle with cancer. He graduated from Louisville High School and had a long career at Republic / LTV Steel before recently retiring from Biery Cheese. His passions and interests included riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, attending auto and motorcycle races, watching sports and gaming at casinos and dog tracks. Stanley was kindhearted and loved being surrounded by family and friends.
Stanley was preceded in death by parents Virginia (2022) and Francis (2018) Haren; and brothers, John Haren (2013), Tom Haren (2020), and Ron Haren (2023).
Stanley is survived by son, Jason (Jamie) Haren; grandson, Jake Haren; siblings, Peggy Haren, Don (Debbie) Haren, Jean Montag, Gary Haren, Cathy (Don) Arnold, Christine (Bruce) Putney, Rich Haren, Randy (Mary) Haren, Jerome (Jana) Haren and Jeff Haren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 am Friday, June 30, 2023 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
