Karen Ruth Henry

It is with deepest regret that the family of Ms. Karen Ruth Henry, 79, announces her passing on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home in Jennings, LA. The family has chosen for her cremation arrangements to be handled with the Matthews Funeral Home in Jennings, LA. A private Celebration of Life gathering will be announced at a later time.
Karen was born in Selma, AL on March 21, 1946, to the late Mr. Patrick Henry, Sr. and Mrs. Ruth Smith Henry, both of Guntersville, AL. Karen achieved her bachelor's degree at age 50 and worked in Real Estate Sales. She was an avid gardener. She loved sharing her gift for raising plants. Karen loved to learn new things and enjoyed researching her ancestry.
Karen is survived by her sons, Bryan Anthony LeBlanc of Jennings, LA and Scott Anthony LeBlanc of Lake Charles, LA; daughter, Daphne Huff (Cory) of Youngsville, LA; grandchildren, Lana Huff Hefner (Josh) and Lauren Huff Wolf (Patrick); great grandchildren, Henry Brady Hefner and Ari Francis Wolf. Along with her Henry family which includes several beautiful nieces, a nephew and all of their children. With a great niece and two great nephews whom she loved.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Henry, Sr. and Ruth Smith Henry; brother, Patrick Anthony Henry, Jr.; sister, Cindy Sue Henry; the father of her children, Gerald A. LeBlanc.
