Karen Kay Hockenbrough, nee Bryson, age 85 of Brookfield. Beloved wife of Robert L. Hockenbrough, loving sister of Ron Bryson, Diane (John) Kennedy and sister-in-law of Ray & Barbara Hockenbrough and Merrilee & Jim Ahlgrim, cherished aunt of Lori, Leann and Heather Kennedy, Dawn (Ed) Uram, Julie (John) Goushas, Kristin (Tracy) Plansky, Wendy (Tim) Bellandi and Craig (Cindy) Ahlgrim and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Karen was born and raised on a farm in College Springs, Iowa on October 10, 1939. She moved to Brookfield where she met Bob. They were married for 66 years. She gardened, sewed, fished, golfed and cheered her husband on the sidelines throughout his 50 years playing softball. They did everything together. She was a wonderful wife, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
