Karen M. Konieczki

Karen Marie Konieczki, age 57, of Oshkosh, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, after a 10 year courageous battle with breast cancer. She was at home surrounded by her family.
Karen was born on October 7, 1964, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Robert "Bob" and Adeline (Trzinski) Konieczki. Growing up she enjoyed bowling and vacations with family. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1983. Karen joined her fiancé Mike in Oshkosh in 2010 where she started her job at Goodwill. She enjoyed creating clothing and jewelry displays and helping sort and grade donations.
Karen enjoyed wood burning, crocheting, and golfcart rides at their camper. She loved watching soap operas and game shows while also watching the birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and bunnies in her backyard. Most of all, she cherished her time spent with her family and her cat, Ninja.
Karen was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. Her strength and positivity carried her family through even the toughest of times. She will be greatly missed.
Karen is survived by her fiancé, Mike Draws of Oshkosh, WI; daughter, Haley (Billy Dhein) Bassett of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; step-children, Desi Draws of Littleton, CO and Tyler (Summer Opinker) Draws of Aubrey, TX; sisters, Linda (John) Musch of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Cindy (Tom) Spranger of Plover, WI, Sue (Gary) Hanneman of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Kim (Trent) Brown of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; nieces and nephews, Scott, Ryan, Jake, Stephanie, Beth, Justin, Jennifer (Clay), Erica, Noah and Lindsey; and great nieces and nephews, Savannah, Jackson, Destiney, Dylan, Adelyn, Kylie, Kaitlyn, and Rhett; and her cat, Ninja.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Adeline Konieczki; and grandparents, John and Agnes Trzinski and Matt and Theresa Konieczki.
A visitation will be held at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI on Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, with a short funeral service to be held at 12:00pm.
