Karen L. Leppo, 71, passed away on February 23, 2025. She was the wife of the late Baron D. Leppo. Born on November 11, 1953, in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Lookingbill) Price.
Karen dedicated many years as a mail carrier, not just delivering letters but also brightening the days of those on her route. She was known for taking the time to chat with people, always sharing a smile and a kind word. Her talkative nature and warm personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Karen is survived by her sons: Duane Leppo (York, PA) and David (Jenny) Leppo (Elizabethtown, PA); grandchildren: Cullen Leppo, Aliannah Leppo, Jace Leppo, Zachary Burkholder, Julie Burkholder, and Owen Leppo; sister, Debra Hunter (York, PA); sisters-in-law, Michele Rohrbaugh and Tracy Nease; brother-in-law, Robert Leppo; and nephews: Anthony (Stacey) Hunter, Timothy (Jodi) Hunter, and Justin (Matava) Hunter.
She was preceded in death by her siblings: Barbara Christiansen and Spencer Neff, as well as her brother-in-law, Dwight Hunter.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E Market St, York, PA 17403, followed by a formal service at 11:00 a.m.
Karen will be laid to rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
