Publish in a newspaper

Karen T. Pawlowski, a resident of Warren since 2019 and formerly of Sterling Heights and Shelby Township, passed away on October 12, 2025, after an illness. She was 62 years old.
Karen was born March 16, 1963, in Mount Clemens, Michigan, to her parents, August Eugene and Joan Bernadette (née Wisniewski) Pawlowski. She grew up in Sterling Heights and was a proud graduate of Eisenhower High School, Class of 1981. She went on to earn her associate degree in occupational therapy from Macomb Community College.
For several years, Karen worked as a medical transcriptionist, and after retiring from that career about ten years ago, she devoted much of her time to her passion for sewing and crafting. She participated in many craft shows and created a wide variety of handmade items-from pet clothing and toys to household items and, during the COVID years, countless protective masks. She was also a talented crocheter whose creativity and skill brought joy to many.
Karen had a deep love for her pets-dogs, cats, and rabbits alike-but her greatest joy came from her family, especially her beloved grandchildren in recent years.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Knauf; her children, Justin Pawlowski and Faith Pawlowski; her cherished grandchildren, Kimura Pawlowski, Kendrick Pawlowski, and Kaidence Pawlowski; her siblings, Pamela (Dan) Mazamka and Michael (Janice) Pawlowski; her step-sister, Judie (David) Edwards; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, August Pawlowski and Joan Pawlowski.
Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, with a memorial service commencing at 1:00 PM, at Gramer Funeral Home, Diener Chapel, 48271 Van Dyke Avenue, Shelby Township, Michigan 48317.
