Karen Perry Obituary

Published by Decker-Givnish Funeral Home, Inc. on Jun. 5, 2020.
On June 5, 2020, after a valiant battle with cancer Karen Jane Perry (nee Barth) of Warminster, PA, joined God the Father in heaven. Born in Abington, Pa, she left behind her husband of 53 years Vincent Perry, sons David and wife Carolynn, Stephen and wife Andrea, her sisters, Joyce DiMartino, Barbara Pieczynski, Chris Long, and grandchildren Jenna and Justin Perry. Karen was a fantastic cook and loved to read. Her recipes will be cherished and reproduced for years; however, no one will ever be able to recreate her famous apple pie. Holidays and life will never be the same without her. Her grandchildren will always remember the countless hours she spent rubbing their backs and reading them to sleep. Grandma gave the best back rubs. Only one word can describe her "selfless." There was nothing she would not do for her family and friends. She always went above and beyond, her faith and helping others was her passion in life. There will be a mass in her honor, Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 11:00 am at Nativity Of Our Lord Church, 605 W. Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made by mail in her name to Nativity of Our Lord Church. 605 W. Street Road Warminster, PA 18974.

We will miss our dear friend, Karen, so much. We have so many wonderful memories with Karen. Basking at the beach at Fenwick Island, playing cards and games together, breakfast and dinner get togethers, and meeting her wonderful family will all be our fondest memories. Added to these memories is Karen's easy and often laugh, her positive outlook, her caring and her generous ways. Karen created wonderful food! Her cherry pie will be forever remembered and missed.
She was not only a caring and generous person but she had a strength about her that we will always admire. She fought her cancer for all she was worth.
It is with great sadness that we express to Vince and their family, the loss of Karen. Even with our sadness, our fond memories of Karen will be with us for the rest of our lives.
With our love and our prayers,
Gretchen and Neil Gibbons
