Karen R. Tuttle, 84, of Bluffton, IN, passed away at 12:08 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Ossian Health & Rehab Center in Ossian, IN. She was born on Friday, November 05, 1937 to Ralph & Ollie Marie Bischoff. She married George Tuttle on Saturday, November 01, 1958, he passed away on December 30, 1999. Karen was a 1955 graduate of Mooseheart High School, in Mooseheart, IL. She was a faithful member of the Park Community Church, Bluffton, where she played the piano for many years. She had formerly worked for Southview Rest Home and Maplewood County Rest Home. Karen won many awards on her crocheting. She liked to color, read, cook and shop. She loved being a part of the Bluffton community and was a big supporter of the Bluffton Tigers. She always had a special reserved seat at the basketball games and always supported the band.
Loving survivors include her 3 sons Ralph W. (Sandy) Tuttle, Ft. Wayne, IN, John F. Tuttle, Bluffton, IN, and Eugene (Sara) Tuttle, Ft. Wayne, IN, grandchildren- Jackie (Ben) Dailey, Bluffton, IN, Katie (Bill) Miller, Bryant, IN, Carter Tuttle, Bluffton, IN, Logann Tuttle, Ft. Wayne, IN, Xander Tuttle, Ft. Wayne, IN and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Tuttle, father Ralph W. Bischoff, mother Ollie Marie (Swinehart) Bischoff and sisters Donna Martin, Sandra Page and Janice "Cookie" White.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Park Community Church 617 S. Bennett St. Bluffton on Monday, January 17, 2022, one hour before the service.
A service to celebrate Karen's life will be at Park Community Church 617 S. Bennett St. Bluffton at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 17, 2022 with Pastor Dennis Wood officiating. Interment will follow next to her husband in the Six Mile Cemetery in rural Wells County.
